The main objective of our school, and of this Online Master in particular, is to give the opportunity to young students of Engineering, engineers and/or professionals with experience to be trained as true specialists in cars and motorbike racing in all their specialties according to the methods, criteria and needs of professional teams and specialized companies acting in direct motorsport (Championships) or indirectly (Industry).

In this introductory module you will learn and enjoy about the history of motorsport from its beginnings to the present day. In addition, we will analyse the different organisations and categories of the FIA and the FIM. that exist and have existed. You will have some of the sporting regulations that have existed This first module will serve to put us in a situation and to acquire culture in this exciting world.

Thanks to this module you will discover what the current structures are like within a Motorsport team of which one day you could be a member. This module will help you to know in detail what are the tasks of the main members of a team.

It is important that when we talk about a piece you can identify what we are referring to. Therefore, in this module we will explain the parts of a car and its main function. This module will serve you as a glossary of the technical vocabulary that we use daily inside the box.

In this module we will look at the parts that make up a racing motorbike, specifically a moto3. This module will serve you as a glossary to identify all the elements and to know their main function.

One of the tasks of a motorsport engineer is to make decisions on the setting of his vehicle. Learn which vehicle parameters modify its behaviour. We will see the tyre and how important it is. You will learn how to make different calculations and the steps to consider in order to achieve a good setting.

In the world of motorsport it is very important to know and interpret how the rider feels on the bike. The confidence that we can give you will be a key point. Therefore, this module will show the different aspects of setting and how they physically affect the behaviour of the bike.

Comprender los conceptos básicos de la dinámica de una moto de carrera. Entiende el comportamiento de una moto de carrera en pista:

- Geometrías generales de motos de carrera.

- Geometrías de dirección delantera y tracción.

- Geometrías de suspensión. 

-Masa, distribución de masas, inercias y efectos giroscópicos.

- Características de la suspensión delantera y trasera.

- Características de los neumáticos de las motos de carreras.

In order to be able to give instructions to our drivers and to understand the behaviour of our vehicle, it is necessary to have objective information. We will see the components of an acquisition system and differents examples that will help us to understand and interpret the data.

Racing motorbikes are equipped with a series of electronic components that allow us to have objective samples of what is happening on the track. Veremos qué componentes pueden monitorizar y el manejo de uno de los sistemas más usados en los circuitos como es el programa 2D, así como diferentes ejemplos que nos servirán para aprender a leer e interpretar los datos.

The suspension elements take on a special importance for the dynamics of our vehicle and consequently for its performance on the track. In this module we will seeat the different parts and types of shock absorbers which will help us to better understand the dynamics of our vehicle.

- Caracterización de amortiguadores en dyno.

- Muelles, "helpers", "bump rubbers" y sus combinaciones e interacción con el vehículo.

- Frecuencia natural y amortiguación, cálculo y elección del coeficiente dependiendo de las condiciones.

- Ajustadores hidráulicos, principios de funcionamiento y efectos sobre la dinámica del vehículo.

The engine is one of the main parts of our racing vehicle. In this module we will see what types of engines exist, the different parts that compose them, as well as the different steps and calculations that are considered for their mechanical preparation.

Analizar y comprender los diferentes tipo de motores (2 tiempos, 4 tiempos, Otto, Diesel, turbo, etc.)

In single-brand competitions where the same motorbikes are raced, a differentiating factor is the condition and preparation of the engine. In this module we will look at a real example of preparation that will help you to see the key points to improve the engine performance.

Good lubricant and fuel conditions will affect the final performance of your vehicle. In this module we will explain what types of lubricants exist and how they will help us to make the best choice for our racing vehicle.

Achieving a correct and controlled relationship between the movement of the engine and the driving wheels is vital and this is thanks to transmission systems. In this module we will look at the different systems and calculations in order to have an optimal relationship.

From the engine to the wheel there are many parts that come into play and sometimes they are the ones that will allow us to have better speed or acceleration. In this module we will look at the different parts of the transmission and discover the key points to be able to choose one gear relationship or another.

When mechanics are not enough, you have to take advantage of all available physics to have a better performance. Aerodynamics is one of the solutions that is becoming increasingly prominent. This module will help you to understand the different aerodynamic elements and what parameters need to be take into account.

This module extends the concepts of the aerodynamics block. In this case we will focus on the Aero maps and look at an example of a calculation to achieve an optimal aerodynamic balance.

Marketing is oriented towards satisfying the needs and wishes of individuals and organisations through the creation and voluntary, competitive exchange of profit-generating products and services.

In this module we will explain the pillars of Marketing at a strategic and operational level and its application in Motorsport.

Motorsport always demands the highest performance from both vehicles and people. For the team, this can create moments of stress and tensions. This module delves into the importance of communication with people to handle the different situations in a racing team inside and outside the box.

To achieve the best time and be the fastest, speed and power are not enough. The braking variant can be decisive during a race. In this module we will see the parts that make up a braking system, the different problems that we may have, and their solution. As well as perform an optimal braking calculation.
